Anneisha McLaughlin-Whilby is a Jamaican sprinter and 4x400m Olympic silver medalist, earning her medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She also won silver in the 4x400m at the 2014 World Indoor Championships. An exceptional junior athlete, McLaughlin-Whilby was awarded the Austin Sealy Trophy for most outstanding athlete at the 2002 CARIFTA Games. Her World Junior Championships achievements include five medals: silver in 4x400m (2000), gold in 4x100m and silver in 100m (2002), and two silver medals in 4x100m and 200m (2004). At the World Youth Championships, she claimed gold in the 200m (2003) and bronze in the 400m (2001).
