Elaine Thompson-Herah, currently the fastest woman alive, and the second fastest woman ever, eclipsed only by Florence Griffith Joyner. Thompson-Herah whose PR in the 200M is 21.53s(second fastest time ever), clocked a blistering 10.54s on August 21, 2021 in Eugene to cement her legacy as one of the greatest sprinters of all times. This fierce competitor captured Gold in her signature events the 100M and 200M at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first woman in history to win the sprint double at consecutive Olympic games. At the 2020 Tokyo games she broke Flo-Jo's long standing Olympic record, clocking 10.61s and taking gold in the 100M.
