Merlene Frazer

Merlene Frazer, a Jamaican 4x100m Olympic silver medalist from the 2000 Sydney Games, has been a consistent performer in sprinting from her junior years, winning multiple medals at the CARIFTA Games and World Junior Championships. A standout in college, she won the 200m at the 1994 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships and two indoor titles. Frazer’s impressive World Championships career includes five medals: gold in the 4x100m (1991), silver (1997), and bronze in the 200m and 4x100m (1999), along with another bronze in the 4x100m (2001).
